Water Table
Come aboard our great adventure! Your gift allows us to provide education-rich opportunities to children through intentionally designed spaces that combine fun and free-play with skill development.
The White River Water Table shows how water, from rain to rivers, affects our lives. Children will learn through hands-on interactives how rivers provide drinking water, energy, and routes for transportation. There will be areas about potable water treatment and waste water treatment, as well as a sink/float area, a bucket activity, an area to show houses on a flood plain, a rain cloud, a dome view, a movable water pipe and mill wheel, an air blower, and areas to build boats and dams. The Cardinal Greenway will also be highlighted with the Kitselman Bridge spanning the river.
