Visitors from all over Indiana, Ohio and even as far as California have walked through the doors of the Muncie Children’s Museum and to explore educational exhibits and programs. Since the addition of Tot Spot in 2011, we have seen a steady increase of families at the Museum. The Museum saw another spike in visitation in 2017 with the completion of the first phase of Discovery Park.
The Museum has connected with more visitors through special programs and annual events including Pirate and Princess Party, Children’s Health Fair, Halloween Extravaganza, Family Fire Safety Day, and Amazing Elf Adventure. Since 2006, Free Saturdays has allowed families from underserved populations in our region an opportunity to explore the museum’s interactive, family-oriented learning without paying admission.
